The Luminaire Spirit is an overarching antagonist of the Un-Named Show, who debuted in Ascension. It is currently using Anthony as a vessel for the Prophecy of Hakaiten.

Background

In the Cult of Hakaiten, it is commonly believed that the Luminaire Spirit is a demigod, a relative of two other unknown gods in the Luminaire. They are aware that the Spirit used to be a much higher being itself, and strive to allow it to reach its full potential once more.

Appearance

The Luminaire Spirit is a creature that almost resembles a normal ghost, however, it is completely magenta in color, has horns on the top of its head, and has spiky teeth on the sides of its mouth. Its body leads to a long tail.

Personality

The Luminaire Spirit is first shown to be a sadistic creature, making sure specific people, such as Midori are to be killed on sight. It is overly protective of the host it resides in, striving to kill anyone who dares threaten them or attempt to kill them.

The Spirit longs for the power it once had, as in Overcharge where it became visibly vulnerable after talking about how it will soon regain the power it held eons ago.

Relationships

Cultist

The Luminaire Spirit enjoys the presence of the Cultist, and finds value in him for working to make the prophecy be fulfilled. The Spirit has also trusted him enough to be its vessel for centuries before the next host would be found.

Anthony

The Spirit does not like Anthony in the slightest, however finds value in his body as a vessel for Hakaiten. Due to this, the Spirit goes out of its way to make sure Anthony is safe, and away from danger, threatening to surface if any threats come his way.

Takhi

Takhi is seen with the Mark of Hakaiten in Overcharge, implying there was a relationship between the two, however this is completely unknown.

Midori

With Midori being Aries in the Zodiac, the Spirit despises her existence, and wants her to be killed.

Austin

The Spirit acts as though it had respect for Austin, though it is most definitely very low. While the Spirit had thought Austin would make a good member of the Cult of Hakaiten due to his eagerness to take over Citchen, it believes he is an inferior version of Anthony, who will never make the proper host he was meant to be.

Powers/Abilities

Normal

Possession: The Luminaire Spirit is able to possess other beings to be its host. However, if a person who is close to the host is sacrificed, the blood magic would be enough to extract the Spirit from their body.

Host Visibility: When the Spirit is about to possess Anthony, he is seen in a completely magenta tone, as opposed to everyone else.

With a Host

Full Control: The Spirit is able to take full control of the host it chooses whenever it needs to. The host is able to break free from this however, if high enough of an emotional state is reached.

Enhanced Strength: When the Spirit is possessing someone, it is able to increase the their strength tremendously.

Telekinesis: The Spirit is able to conduct telekinesis on objects, even being able to stop multiple people in place with enough focus.

Anomaly Disruption: With high enough speed, the Spirit is able to disrupt the Anomaly, causing it to break in some cases.

Criminal Record

Possession: The Spirit has possessed Takhi and Anthony at different points in time.

Murder: While in control of Anthony, it made an attempt to murder Midori, and has successfully murdered Austin.

Anomaly Tampering: When it rammed Austin into the anomaly, it caused it to get disrupted, and broken slightly more than it had been beforehand.

Trivia

  • While the Spirit showed itself in Ascension and Overcharge, it was briefly also seen about to surface in Draw The Line after the crew fell of the zipline in the climax.
