The Cultist is an antagonist in the Un-Named Show who debuted in Search for Satan.
He is the leader of the Cult of the Luminaire Spirit and was the former holder of the Luminaire Spirit itself.
Appearance
The cultist has purplish-grey skin. His hair is bushy, yet square, and is primarily pompadour, with magenta edges. He sports two magenta horns on top of his head. He wears a tattered blackcurrant cloak, with the tattered portions being navy blue. He wears a black outfit underneath, with navy blue boots and gloves, alongside a bright, sky-blue belt. Over his eyes he has a grey mask, and his teeth are spiky, and are usually visible. His eyes are purple on occasion.
Personality
The Cultist has his personality based around fulfilling the prophecy that he mentions in Ascension. He does not care about the well being for others, trapping Satan and Midori inside of a prison with absolutely nothing, all because he was needing them for the first part of the prophecy. He acts insane on several occasions, laughing manically.
Relationships
Greg During Greg's debut episode, the Cultist expresses that he is the closest person to him. Greg's bond with the Cultist is the reason why he ultimately had to get sacrificed in order to release the Luminaire Spirit and give it to Anthony.
Luminaire Spirit The Cultist has a tight bond with the Luminaire Spirit, especially due to the fact that they have been sharing the same body for what has been stated as centuries. He knows how the Spirit is vital for the prophecy that he is wanting to fulfill, and he will do anything to make the Spirit able to get through with it, even if it means killing his closest friends.
Gloomer Gloomer is the Cultist's companion. It could be assumed that these two have been together for a long while, especially with the trust that the Cultist put into having Gloomer go to the main dimension to find Satan.
Anthony Anthony is seen by the Cultist as the strongest person in the current prophecy's rotation. This makes him considered the most useful for the Luminaire Spirit who was in his soul at the time. While the Cultist does not care about Anthony himself, he cares about his body being a state of life in order for the Spirit to continue to thrive in his soul.
Powers/Abilities
Normal Staff: His staff has only been seen possessing the ability of leeching from another person. It is assumed that the staff could perform more than just this.
From Luminaire Spirit Enhanced Strength: While the Cultist is being controlled by the Luminaire Spirit, he has enhanced strength.
Telekinesis: The Cultist could move objects around without any physical contact, and could lock even multiple people in place.
Trivia
The Cultist has stated that he has been waiting for the new host to show up in the Luminaire for centuries, giving a rough hint as to how old he could possibly be.
