Incident Report: Anomalous Entity A-0002 ("Eternal Monarch")

Date: [REDACTED]

Field Agent: [REDACTED]

Description:

Anomalous Entity A-0002 are a mass group of butterflies that are unable to be seen by any human under normal circumstances, meaning it is impossible to get any definitive images of them.

There have been countless reports from citizens of Citchen, areas nearby, and even from other Quasar Inc. employees who have experienced visions of these creatures while under the events of a near-death experience. Some have reported there only being one, while others have mentioned swarms.

Each source states the same idea of the butterflies having a "sad face" as their pattern. They are usually a bright blue, and glow spectacularly to which most have had to resist grabbing onto them, with the fear of being dragged into the afterlife.

Field Report - Agent ██████

Child's illustration of A-0002

After Mr. Rivero heard about a seemingly interesting report from the ██████ family, about a concerning drawing made by the child in the family, I was sent over to their home to ask them about it all.

Upon arriving to the establishment, the parents informed me on the entire incident. As I can recall, the family had gone out to one of the nearby lakes for the weekend. The child was swimming around as per usual until they went down under for a concerning amount of time. CPR was needed to be done as they have been rendered unconscious.

The child was deemed well for the days following, and drew a picture of the incident. The parents already felt as though the "Swimming Butterflies" were off-putting, until the child mentioned one of them asking them to follow it into the water.

This seems to be just as expected from these entities, as we have had several reports before this one where the butterflies wanted people to follow them, most presumably into their own demise.
