Description:
A-0000, otherwise known as "The Cycle of Life", is an ongoing anomalous event that has been happening within the world since presumably the beginning of time.
It is the strange phenomenon where if any being were to die, they have a high chance of suddenly appearing again moments later as if nothing has ever happened to them. Reports that have been received mention deaths of humans by: Drowning, Burning, Being Torn Apart, Crushed and/or Suffocated, Exploding, ect. Seconds after these incidents happen, the body vanishes.
While many of these incidents lead to the body being horrendously injured, mutilated, or otherwise completely destroyed, the humans affected still seem to return moments later. Some remembering what has happened to them, while others completely forget.
Field Report: Agent Miller
While being deployed in specific areas of Citchen to study entities A-████, A-████, and A-████, we have had several... incidents... to say the least. Several times have employees had their craniums shattered, complete blood loss, and anything that led to certain death, but I would think it's a bit odd that they are back working, happier than ever the next day, or even moments after.
Mr. Rivero has put several studies into this, and it appears that whenever someone dies, energies from nearby A-████ would be infused into their soul. It allows a sense of refusal to completely die... but I wonder how that even explains the act of their bodies returning to normal. We've seen some weird stuff sure, but complete body regeneration within minutes, even if it's completely missing?
Most people I have seen affected by this phenomenon have little to no memory of what happened to them. They all retain memories from previous lives, but they don't remember what killed them. However, for the few that do remember, it seems to drive them insane.
Entity A-████ is a prime example. They are stuck in a constant loop of suicide, returning to their establishment, and then committing again in the exact same way. Possibly thousands of times! They've been driven to insanity by this phenomenon.
End Report.
Field Report: Agent Almeida
I've been told a lot about A-0000 for a long while, and believe me, I know it's true. I myself have been susceptible to it! However, something horrible happened in the town last week. There's been a murder of █████ ████.
Now, a week later, there is no sign of their return. Many people have told me they were completely missing. This leads me to believe that perhaps not everyone is affected by A-0000, and if they are, the essence of it may dwindle in time. Is it that A-████ doesn't want to give them life again, or do they want them to stay with them forever?
It's a terrifying thought, really. Many of us live by the idea that we'll all return when we die, but what does that entail for if we suddenly don't? This isn't the first time someone has permanently died of course. At the graveyard we have many that have passed on, such as █████ ██████████, and █████ █████. It really makes me think, did they not want to be revived, or was it against their own will? What would that mean for A-████ then, they seemed to not want to live at all!
The effects of A-0000 also seems to not affect any animals, including companions that many have. It's not something we know much about yet, but it is an interesting subject to touch on later.
